For our application, we need to detect harsh acceleration and braking. However, this is intended to be used on vehicles not travelling at a speed of more than 20kmph.

On reading the manual, I realised that the shock detection feature can be activated only above the speed of 20kmph. Is there any way to configure the TFT100 for our use case?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Hello,

The TFT100 device Accelerometer Calibration has been tested with lower speeds and the new bare minimum is 7KMH (Around 4.3MPH).

You can check the updated information on the dedicated wiki page: https://wiki.teltonika-mobility.com/view/TFT100_Accelerometer_Features_settings#Accelerometer_Calibration

This means that using the Crash Detection feature is also possible at the previously mentioned speed.

Best regards,

Edgaras
