Is it possible to receive a Movement Event event IO ID if you're using Codec 8?

Because, correct me if I'm wrong, while using Codec 8, the size of a event IO ID is 1 byte, so in theory, it shouldn't be possible.

We are thinking that the reason we aren't receiving this information on the server is because we're not using the Extended version of the procotol.

Because the size of an event IO ID when using Codec 8 is 1 byte, thus theoretically, it shouldn't be feasible to do this.

You are correct, Codec 8 does not support IDs above 255.

Here is a list below:

Movement Event ID is 310, in which case Codec 8 does not support that.

Thanks for the information you supplied. quordle
